1. Introduction

Welcome to MintLoop ("we," "our," or "us"). MintLoop is an India based software platform dedicated to helping WhatsApp community creators monetize and manage their groups effectively. MintLoop is operated by its founder, an individual based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India (MintLoop is not yet a registered company). We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide our services. This includes:

  • For Creators: Name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp business number, business information, and billing details necessary for account setup and payouts.
  • For Members and End Users: Phone number, email address, payment status, subscription tier, and metadata related to the groups you join via MintLoop.

3. Payments and Razorpay Integration

Important: MintLoop does not store or process your sensitive payment instrument details (such as Credit or Debit Card numbers, UPI IDs, Netbanking passwords, or CVVs).

All payments are processed securely by Razorpay, our third party payment gateway partner. When you make a transaction, your payment data is handled directly by Razorpay in accordance with their own specific security standards (PCI DSS) and privacy policies. We strongly encourage you to review Razorpay's Privacy Policy and Terms regarding how they handle your financial data.

4. Purpose of Processing

We process your data for the following lawful purposes:

  • To provide the core MintLoop service (managing subscriptions, automating approvals).
  • To provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To analyze usage patterns to improve our platform (analytics).
  • To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.

5. WhatsApp and Meta Data

MintLoop operates as a technical facilitator for WhatsApp groups.

  • No Message Storage: We do not read, store, or access the content of your private WhatsApp conversations or messages.
  • How we manage membership: MintLoop acts through the Creator's own linked WhatsApp account. It reads group membership and join requests, sends join, renewal, and win-back messages, and removes members whose membership has expired. It does not read or store the content of your messages.
  • Metadata Only: We may store limited metadata required for automation, such as your phone number, the Group ID you are joining, and your subscription status (Active or Expired).
  • Compliance: You are responsible for complying with WhatsApp's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. MintLoop is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following commercial contexts:

  • Razorpay: Payment processing, invoices, and settlements for member payments and MintLoop plan fees.
  • Clerk: Sign-in and account management.
  • Neon: Hosting of our Postgres database.
  • Render: Hosting of our API.
  • Vercel: Hosting of this website.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery.
  • Sentry: Server error monitoring.
  • Microsoft Clarity: Website analytics, loaded only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner (see below).
  • Groq: Powers the AI assistant chat on this website.
  • Discord: We notify our own internal team channel with a new Creator's name and email when they sign up. Members' data is not shared.
  • WhatsApp/Meta: As described in section 5, we act through the Creator's own linked WhatsApp account.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.

7. Analytics and Cookies

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. Clarity runs only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this website.

8. How Long We Keep Data

  • Account data: for as long as your account is active. When a Creator deletes their account, we disconnect WhatsApp and Razorpay, anonymise the Creator profile, and keep payment, subscription, and invoice records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
  • Payment and invoice records: for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
  • Server logs: approximately 30 days.
  • Cron and notification logs: pruned automatically.

9. Data Retention and Your Rights

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined here or as required by law (e.g., tax and accounting records).

Under the DPDP Act and applicable Indian regulations, you have rights regarding your data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten"). To exercise these rights, please contact us at mintloop.help@gmail.com.

10. Security Practices

We employ reasonable security practices and procedures as required by Indian law to protect your data. This includes encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted internal access, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no digital transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Data

MintLoop is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Creators using our platform must not target services towards minors without appropriate parental consent mechanisms.
